Meet the Woman Behind Thrive After 50

Hi, I’m Susan.

There was a time in my life when I didn’t feel like myself anymore.

On the outside, everything looked fine—but inside, I felt flat, disconnected, and unsure of who I was becoming. My energy had shifted, my priorities were changing, and the things that once felt certain no longer did.

That chapter of my life had a name—menopause. And it changed everything.

I was born in New Zealand in 1964, the youngest of three, and raised in a hardworking family where resilience, adaptability, and a strong work ethic were simply part of life. Those early years shaped who I am today—curious, determined, and always open to learning and growth.

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats. I’ve studied, started businesses, raised two beautiful children largely on my own, and rebuilt my life more than once. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: a deep desire to learn, grow, and help others do the same.

But midlife brought a different kind of turning point.

Like many women, I found myself navigating physical, emotional, and mental changes—often feeling like I was losing my identity and my zest for life. I spent time exploring different approaches, searching for answers, and slowly reconnecting with what I truly needed.

That journey is what led me here.

Today, through Thrive After 50 and The Longevity Method, I help women over 50 feel more confident, in control, and at ease with their money—so they can focus on what truly matters: their health, wellbeing, and quality of life.

As a qualified Breathwork Practitioner with a Diploma in Life Coaching (2011) and a Diploma in Accounting (2015), I bring both practical financial knowledge and a supportive, real-world approach. My work isn’t just about numbers—it’s about helping you create clarity, reduce stress, and make confident decisions about your future.

I also incorporate The Midlife Reset Method, a gentle yet powerful breathwork-based approach designed to calm your nervous system, reduce stress, and help you reconnect with your body. Through simple, guided techniques, you can release tension, restore your energy, and feel more grounded, clear, and in control.

My approach is simple.

This isn’t about restriction or complicated systems—it’s about creating a way of managing your money and your wellbeing that feels calm, sustainable, and aligned with who you are now.
